That oil drain plug is aluminum. I dont trust an aluminum oul drain plug. Thats why i got a standard steel magnetic from fcp euro for $5!

Very confusing. It is not called "x431 Elite 2.0 Pro" on the box. It is called "Creader Elite V2.0" It does not say x431, 2024 or Pro anywhere on the box, the user manual or the unit itself. Even more confusing is the fact that it is not mentioned in the Launch web site.

Headlight washer is the most useless invention

Planning on replacing my valve cover on my 4 series with one of the aluminum ones, but I'm missing the little nubs that hold the engine cover in place. Do you have any idea what they're called? I've tried "engine cover studs" and several permutations of that, but haven't had any luck.

I THINK I FOUND THE BEST MATCHING PAINT! (I have the bronze Aodhan AH09's.) After testing lots & lots of spray paint for rims, I finally went over to Home Depot to let them analyze the results. I brought my center cap with me & the guy there ran about 10 samples of spray cans on index cards & we found a 99% match: Behr Premium brand: Metallic Antique Brass Satin. Not only is this rattle can readily available at any Home Depot, it pairs well with the Rustoleum Matte 2x Clear Coat. I had 2 rims with curb damage: I sanded them down with 120 grit, then 400 grit, cleaning the surrounding area with 90% rubbing alcohol afterwards. Once dry, I started applying light, misty coats every 5 minutes. After about 6 coats, the blending was done & I could barely tell where I had painted. (Note: this spray paint has miniscule dark flecks in it that help you blend it in, depending on how long you shake it for. The longer you shake, the lighter it gets.) After letting sit & cure for an hour, I misted the area with 2 layers of Matte UV Clear Coat. Upon bringing the rims to my local shop to re-mount the tires: they were amazed someone was able to fix it, after they were denied by local rim shops. Apparently, nobody wants to touch bronze rims. They were unable to tell where the rims were fixed visually, and their only clue was by touch & feeling for the Clear Coat vs powder coat feel. Altogether, the fix cost me about $25 & an hour & a half of uninterrupted attention. Of note: I recommend JB Water Weld for the deep gouges in the aluminum instead of Bondo, as it hardens like metal, can structurally handle more pressure & psi, and remains sandable.

The rubber stripe/flap suppose to be on top of the 2 covers (battery terminal and fuse box) right?

My Tips: - Use pliers to pinch the clip into place - If your clip doesn't align with the actuator, try turning the car on, and engaging the various drive modes until it does. My actuator was a little bit out of the range of rotation of the valve pin, but aligned once I turned it to sport mode. - This is A LOT easier if you jack your car up even 10cm so you have room to move your arms. - Get a headlamp, or bright torch I did not need to remove or even loosen the bolts, or unclip the electronics.
